The Ed Terris Memorial Scholarship Society is a registered charity that raises funds by means of an annual golf tournament for the purpose of providing athletic scholarships to deserving students in British Columbia.  Ed Terris was a well-known and well-liked teacher and coach at North Delta High, who passed away due to cancer in 1997.  To commemorate Ed and his contributions to both scholastic achievement and to high school basketball, the Society was established to grant scholarships on an annual basis, in his honour.  The fund has provided scholarships for a total value of $15,000.00 to twenty-three deserving students throughout the province of British Columbia since 2000.
